Big Smith Program and Skills Competition

All participants and parents are invited to attend a short program and skills competition in between the mini and bantam division finals on Sunday March 1st.  This event allows us all to get together on one site to celebrate the spirit of the tournament.   We will pay tribute to Mike Smith and the history of the tournament, and we encourage all team members to wear the Big Smith Classic jerseys they will have received during the tournament.  Then, two players from each team will compete against other players within their division (ie. junior mini girls vs other junior mini girls) for a $100  team pizza prize.  We have a DJ to provide great tunes and the gym is full of teams there to cheer one another on.  
 
The skills competition is divided into agility and dribbling, lay-ups and shooting and will be led by one of our technical directors and players who were coached by Mike Smith. This competition was one of the highlights of our first tournament. You’re in for fun!
